Sex Education has always been a project to look out for. Premiered back in 2019 on Netflix, the high-school drama series took the world by storm. Moreover, it is one of the most-watched shows on the streaming platform. After being announced back in 2021, Sex Education will be returning to the screens after almost two years. And ahead of the season’s release, the OTT platform blessed the internet with new images from the show, tantalizing viewers. 

The fourth season of Sex Education has been a long time coming. Fans from around the world have been anticipating the release of the show for months. After previously announcing the release date AKA 21st September 2023, Netflix has now released a fresh batch of pictures from the fourth season. The new images released by the streamer on Twitter give the fans a glimpse of what to expect in the show’s finale.

Alongside unveiling the gallery of brand-new images, it also confirmed the return of fan-favorite characters, including the iconic duo of Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Eric (Ncuti Gatwa). Another image features Otis with his mother, Jean, while one picture shows Maeve in a library.

Other returning characters also include Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood), Adam (Connor Swindells), Michael (Alistair Petrie), Cal (Dua Saleh), and Isaac (George Robinson). Interestingly, one image indicates a potential reunion that we might be witnessing in season 4. It features Adam, along with his dad, sitting on the bonnet of a car, enjoying an outing.

As we all know, the duo’s relationship hit the rocks in the third season of the show following a divorce. Adam even came out to his mother towards the end of the season. Safe to assume that the possibility of Adam opening up about his sexuality to his strict dad is on the cards. Shortly after the pictures surfaced online, fans stormed Twitter with multiple reactions. 

Fans react to the new images from Sex Education Season 4

After almost a two-year wait, fans could not seem to hold their excitement back for the new season of Sex Education. The pictures took the internet by storm, and fans all over the internet revealed that they will be there for the season finale. Many fans expressed their excitement over the release of the new season through comments like “And I’ll watch” memes and “will defo watch.” Meanwhile, some even celebrated their favorite Sex Education stars, complimenting their looks for the season.

While fans are excited about the show’s comeback, many are pointing out how old the cast members look.

The fresh batch of episodes will grace our screens on 21st September 2023. Season 4 will have a total of eight episodes.
