The CEOs, in their interview with Bloomberg, said they had never canceled a successful show. They pointed at the Korean series, Squid Game, as an example of a successful show. Sarandos said it was highly unlikely to see a show as successful as Squid Game in a very short time. They also mentioned it was a matter of budget.
