“Everything is temporary” – Meghan Markle Gives a Note About Her Podcast and Her Vision About It

Within less than two months of its release, Meghan Markle’s Spotify podcast Archetypes has become one of the most talked-about shows. The podcast is all about Meghan Markle discussing the various stereotypes and troops that label women and hold them back from achieving greater heights in their personal and professional life. 

In the six episodes of the podcast so far, the Duchess of Sussex has talked with guests including Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling, Lisa Ling, Margaret Cho, Jenny Slate, Deepika Padukone, Constance Wu, Paris Hilton, and Iliza Shlesinger. Time and again, Meghan has also revealed a lot about her life as an adult and child on the podcast. However, it is not easy for the former actress to carry out such deep conversations. She finally reveals her inspiration for her much-talked-about show Archetypes.

Meghan Markle deeply reflects on her podcast Archetypes

Speaking to Variety on their YouTube channel, Meghan Markle revealed that with her podcast she attempts to dissect and unbox the labels that define women as a one-note human beings. The 41-year-old wants the women to expect themselves the way they are, as it is completely okay to be multifaceted human beings. She further admitted that, though she has fun with her guests, it is difficult to dig deeper.

However, her children, Archie and Lilibet, are the ones who provide the much-needed strength to Meghan to carry out all the heavy conversations and present a vulnerable side to the world. The Duchess also hailed the meaningful conversations as the game changer. 

I think in moments of challenge or when you’re trying to dig deeper into these conversations, it can be very heavy. Part of what I find a lot of strength or faith in, it’s looking at my kids. I think recognizing that everything is temporary to really just enjoy what time we have here and what we’re doing with that time is a game changer,” Meghan said in the video.
