The Hughleys actor and comedian, DL Hughely, also made an interesting observation of Ye’s behavior. The actor recently spoke to TMZ and drew an interesting comparison between Kanye West and other artists like Britney Spears.

DL Hughley blames gender bias for the continuing Kanye West controversies

Kanye West is now seeing his career spiral down, after years of odd behavior. Like most celebrities, DL Hughely has also spoken out on the whole debacle. He drew an interesting comparison between the Flashing Lights and the Womanizer singer. While speaking to TMZ, the entertainer said, “he (Kanye) would already be under conservatorship, as Wendy Williams and Britney Spears.“ While Hughely also admits that they did not even cause half the drama as the Donda founder, but the gender bias kept him from the fate of these two women.

Britney recently won the legal battle to end her thirteen-year-long conservatorship controlled by her father. While Wendy Williams was not under a conservative ship, she was placed under temporary financial guardianship. Both women went through the situation after concerns about their mental health and behavior arose. Yet, no such discussion ever came into being in Ye’s case, as he remains free to continue with his stunts. The comedian also criticized the singer’s comparison of himself with George Floyd.

So far on Kanye’s quest, Adidas has distanced itself from the designer. He ended his deal with GAP. After losing his millionaire status, he was escorted out of Sketcher’s office for showing up uninvited. Although DL Hughely did not want conservatorship for the Gold Digger singer, he pointed out was the difference in treatment given to Ye versus female artists.
