Since then, Reynolds along with McElhenney has become very famous in the football world. Owing to their show, Welcome To Wrexham, the popularity of football in Wales has skyrocketed. Time and again, the duo is spotted in the audience of multiple matches of the club. As surprising as it sounds, Reynolds and McElhenney were even featured in a hidden Easter egg in the popular football game FIFA 23.

FIFA is amongst the most popular football games and enjoys a massive fan following worldwide. Recently, gamers noticed an easter egg while playing the latest version of the game FIFA 23. As per the gamers, while playing any mode in FIFA with Reynolds’s Wrexham A.F.C., the game features a hidden commentary by Reynolds. The usual initial commentary by Derek Rae and Stewart Robson is soon taken over by Reynolds and McElhenney.
The commentary goes, “this is a big club versus a very small giant club, massive versus just a minuscule improvisational version of a football club of course we’re talking about Liverpool.” While Easter eggs are not new for gamers, it is surely a rare sight in sports games. However, this is the second time Wrexham A.F.C. have been a part of FIFA. The Welsh club plays under “Rest Of The World” banner.

All those who are eager to know more about the club can check out Welcome To Wrexham on Disney+. The first season has a total of eighteen episodes. Furthermore, the star duo of Reynolds and McElhenney even met with King Charles. Reynolds even took to Twitter with an interesting caption. The Deadpool star wrote, “Welcome to Wrexham Season 2: Charles in Charge.”
