The movie is based on Jane’s last novel of the same name which was published in 1817. Jane Austen novels are touted for their witty social commentary and sweeping romances, and this adaptation looks like it will be all that and more.

When Frederick Wentworth—the dashing one she let get away—crashes back into her life, Anne must choose between putting the past behind her or listening to her heart when it comes to second chances.
