Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice may not have done the numbers everyone thought it would, but it provided two of the best superheroes to this generation – Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman. This was the first time fans saw the two heroes share a screen. But instead of joining hands, the two were seen battling it out on screen.
However, it seems that even though they were not on the same page on camera; they had a great deal of affinity for one another off-camera. From making jokes about Batman sleeping with Superman’s mother to pulling pranks on set, these actors surely had a fun time.
Ben Affleck’s hilarious prank on Henry Cavill made the internet chuckle
Long ago, when Henry Cavill was still a part of DCU, Affleck had pulled a neat little prank on the Brit. While they were still filming the movie in 2016, the Gone Girl star added Batman posters to Cavill’s trailer. Going inside, he showed off the various posters in his trailer and the Batman merchandise. The then 43-year-old drew glasses over The Tudors star’s face in the poster before heading out. He had uploaded the post to his social media handles with a cheeky little caption, “Henry, I’m flattered. I didn’t know you were such a fan! We know #WhoWillWin.”
Later on, The Man From U.N.C.L.E actor had his revenge when they both guested on the Conan show to promote the movie. When the host proposed that the clash between the two heroes was because Batman had a relationship with Superman’s mother, Cavill agreed! Playing along, Cavill accepted the new theory and instead suggested that he knew all along because of his super smell!

James Gunn did not kick out Cavill
Since the Brit’s exit from DCU, fans blamed James Gunn and Peter Safran for kicking him out after they became the new CEOs. However, it turns out that Gunn never fired him. In fact, he was hired six months prior to his exit when Man of Steel was not shelved.
Warner Bros had apparently jerked the actor around. And had also given the green light to Gunn to work on his vision of Superman. Superman: Legacy was planned from the beginning.
