The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left their royal lives behind two years ago in 2020. Upon their renunciation from the Royal Family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were stripped of their royal patronages and honorary titles. Their step was named the infamous Megxit, after which the working couple shifted to their California base in the USA. They have been living all by themselves without any financial or political help from the Sovereign.
However, although reports claim Markle’s native was their all-time favorite, the Queen had some other plans for them. Nevertheless, it did not see any daylight, and the couple moved as they chose to. However, some news publishers and Royal Authors still claim that the then Monarch, the late Queen Elizabeth II, wanted them to shift long before they actually did. Although no legitimate platform or publishing house has confirmed it, the theory still persists.
Prince Harry and Meghan were considering moving to New Zealand
Andrew Morton, the Royal Author with maximum credibility claims, the Sussexes were battling their way through the ways of the Palace. Hence, Queen Elizabeth II did intervene and tried to fix the problems. And in the course of her actions, she once considered the option of sending the two far away from the Palace, to an island country. On a podcast named Pod Save The King, Morton revealed the Queen wanted to move the Sussexes to the Oceanian country, New Zealand.
This came in light of how she wanted the two royal couples to handle things. As a matter of fact, the Waleses have to ultimately take responsibility for the UK someday. The Queen hence gave Prince Harry the position of Youth Ambassador to the Commonwealth. He said this was Her Majesty’s effective way of saying, “you do the rest of the world, leave Willian and Catherine to do the UK“.
He further continued stating that after their Royal visit to Wellington, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were even thinking of living there. However, they shifted to the latter’s native and have been leading a life at liberty that they have always wanted. The latest big news around the couple state, they will be receiving the Ripple of Hope Awards. Robert F Kennedy Foundation will do the honor in the frost of December 9.
