“Ball is in their court” – Prince Harry Hints at Attending King Charles’ Coronation Ceremony
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at odds with the royal family, especially King Charles and heir to the throne, Prince William. The couple did not hold back while shading the senior members in the Netflix docuseries. The Duke is expected to come up with fresh accusations in his memoir Spare. As per various reports, he will be detailing his tough encounters and conversations with his father and elder brother.

However, despite the serious tensions, Prince Harry is hopeful of a reconciliation with King Charles and Prince William. He has also kept the possibility of attending his father’s coronation ceremony on May 06 this year open. The trailer of the Duke’s upcoming interview with ITV Tom Bradby saw him giving a diplomatic answer about attending the grand event.
Prince Harry wants to have a conversation with the royal family
In the short clip, Prince Harry hinted at a possible reunion with his family. When asked about his plans for the coronation, the Sussex royal did not directly rule out the chances of him arriving in the United Kingdom. As per the Duke, it is up to the royal family to decide the direction of their future relationship.

“There is a lot that can happen between now and then. But, you know, the door is always open, the ball is in their court. There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they are willing to sit down and talk about it,” the Prince was heard saying in the trailer.
Meanwhile, many royal experts believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would not be getting an invitation to the ceremony. They are of the opinion that there will be serious consequences for the Sussexes’ constant verbal attacks on the royal family. Notably, King Charles snubbed his younger son and daughter-in-law in his first Christmas speech as well.

He lauded Prince William and Kate Middleton for contributing to the royal family. However, there was no mention of the California-based royals. Monarchists believe that this is an indication by the king regarding the future of the monarchy.
