The name of the Smith family may be in the faulted pages of current history right now, but that was not the case always. They have always maintained a very respectable image among their colleagues, friends, and fans. And their charitable work almost two decades earlier is perhaps a testament to this fact. Back in 2010, when Haiti saw the very first modern-Cholera outbreak, Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, joined many kind hearts and raised funds for the hungry Haitians.
The couple apparently put a special artwork on auction and all the proceedings went to the UN to help it strengthen food security on the Caribbean subcontinent. The music artists who performed at the Nobel Peace Prize concert co-hosted by the couple that year signed the art piece with personalized silhouettes drawn by Will Smith, his family, and the artists. Furthermore, it was put on sale on eBay and had a world map portraying world hunger.

“There can be no true peace in the world while there is hunger,” the Emancipation actor wrote on his silhouette on the map, emphasizing the connection between hunger and peace. Furthermore, the artists who joined him and Jada Pinkett Smith included the likes of Wyclef Jean, Natasha Bedingfield, Toby Keith, Westlife, Esperanza Spalding, Alexander Rybak, Amadou & Mariam, Donna Summer, Lang Lang, and Luis Fonsi.

Will Smith and his wife also own a foundation that works toward the betterment of society
Will and Jada Smith family foundation is what they call it. The non-profit organization notably benefits inner-city community developments, youth educational projects, and underprivileged children and their families. That is not all, though. The couple also hosted the Nelson Mandela AIDS benefit concert in Georgia, South Africa, dedicating their time and money to the suffering families of the continent. Furthermore, the couple together donated $1.3 million to help the needy in Smith’s hometown, Philadelphia.
The Will and Jada Smith Foundation also provides positive life experiences to underprivileged children by collaborating with other nonprofit organizations in Texas, Hawaii, and Africa.
