Gunn’s answer shocked the fandom as he revealed the studio hired him 6 months ago, reported Daily Mail. At the time, the Enola Holmes actor was a part of the DCEU. However, fans instantly pointed out that if they hired Gunn to write Superman Legacy before they let Cavill go, then why hire him at all? They connected the timeline because Gunn and Cavill were hired at around the same time.
