Prince Harry did not have a lot of nice things to say about his elder brother, Prince William, in the docuseries and memoir. He painted him as a bully, liar, and aggressive person in Spare. Apart from all the explosive revelations, the Duke of Sussex shared the details of some childhood sibling rivalries as well. 

While detailing his relationship with the heir to the throne in their growing years, Prince Harry revealed that he sees the same bond between his children, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. As per the Sussex royal, just like him, his daughter is also obsessed with her brother and, sadly, her love is not reciprocated.

How Archie and Lilibet are similar to Prince William and Prince Harry?

Reflecting on his sibling rivalry with Prince William in growing years, Prince Harry told Tom Bradby during an ITV interview that he now understands how irritating the younger siblings can be. The Duke narrated that he always wished to be with his elder brother when they were studying at Eton. However, the heir to the throne did not have the same thoughts, as he refused to acknowledge the younger prince. 

It was a disappointing moment for Prince Harry, and he was very hurt at that time. However, he can now very well understand the mindset of Prince William as Archie and Lilibet share the same bond. Since the gap between Archie and Lili is also two years, like their uncle and father, they share a lot in common with the elder royals.  

“To see Lili obsessed with Archie and Archie like, ‘No, no, Lily, I need my space. I need my space now.’ And I get it. I get how irritating the younger sibling can be to the older sibling,” the 38-year-old mentioned in the explosive interview. 

Meanwhile, despite the differences, the prince never stopped loving Prince William. As per the Duke, he still has a soft corner for the heir to the throne and wants him back in his life.
