King Charles, who ascended the throne following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, will have the formal ceremony on May 06, 2023. Prince Harry to have no role in the future of the monarchy
The royal expert Katie Nicholl has backed the idea of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attending the coronation ceremony. She believes that King Charles will follow in the footsteps of his later mother Queen Elizabeth II and try his best to reunite the family. As per the royal author, Prince Harry’s latest statements about reconciliation must have also given hope to the monarch.
“I think he is a magnanimous man. I think there will be an invitation and that olive branch will be extended because he is still his son and, despite all of this, he loves his son. He will have him there,” Nicholl mentioned in a conversation with GB News.
Meanwhile, Katie Nicholl is only the royal expert to hope for a reunion between the father and son. The commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti also echoed the same sentiments. He revealed that Prince Harry will play no important role in the coronation ceremony. However, the king will extend an invitation to his younger son and will be expecting him there as a family member.
