Arnold Schwarzenegger was dragged into an argument about acting skills recently. The actor was undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the 80s and ’90s and changed the face of how a hero looks like. The former bodybuilding champion rose to fame with Terminator, getting his big break in the industry.
Thereon, he starred in several hits like Predator, Commando, Total Recall, etc. But then there arises a question: Is a big personality and good physique enough to become a movie star? This remains to be a question and in an online debate about the best WWE actor and Schwarzenegger was pulled into that debate.
Is Arnold Schwarzenegger the best WWE actor?
WWE was a big rage in the 90s throughout the early 2000s and still remains one of the most entertaining sources of entertainment. But some of its successful entertainers managed to break into the acting industry and make it big, especially in action movies. A post on Instagram asked fans about the best WWE actor. To which a fan replies, “Yet you look at the 80s and 90s action stars like Arnold, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, Jean Claude, Van Dammn and Dolph Longren and we never complained about their acting skills.”
But he also added that actors people now complain about The Rock, Vin Diesel, and possibly Jason Statham. Although most people did not seem pleased with the comparison and defended The Hitman actor. Meanwhile, many defended that Stallone and Schwarzenegger had iconic characters in their name with movies like Rocky and Terminator. As for Dwayne Johnson, the actor has also given some successful hits like Welcome To The Jungle and Red Notice.

But Johnson’s latest lead role in DC’s Black Adam did not do as well as expected and has sparked a discussion over his acting skills and variety of roles. While most stars in Hollywood come from an acting background, it is not uncommon for famous people from other fields to enter the entertainment industry.
