Amidst James Gunn’s Lookout for New Superman, the Iconic Super Hero Sees Yet Another Major Change Inspired by Horror Mogul Sam Raimi in the Comics

Amidst different actors who portrayed the fan-favorite Superman, fans cannot let go of the Henry Cavill version. However, there is a new take on the fan-favorite DC hero, which is way more fun, according to the writer of the new comic book writer, Joshua Williamson. And consequently, Man of Steel goes under a major makeover in the upcoming comic book issue.

Given the writer’s admiration for the horror mogul, Sam Raimi, Williamson tried to portray the dark side of Superman. As reported by CBR, the upcoming comic book issue would see the symbol of hope in a new costume. The traditional red and blue costume is gone and the Kryptonian would be seen wearing a white costume along with his iconic cape.

The writer makes changes in not only the costume but also in the appearance of the DC hero as well. The Kryptonian will get a new face-lift in the forthcoming issue of the comic book series. The makeover will mark the dramatic shift in the story of the DC hero.

As Superman #3 will see a major dramatic shift in the character’s course, it sure needs an explanation for the fandom. In his interview, the writer opened up about the changes he made. He revealed Clark would get a new costume for this issue only. Moreover, while setting excitement for the forthcoming issues, he added it was just the beginning, as there would be a lot of thrilling and fun stuff in the next issues of the comic book series.

If you have read the first two issues, you would be able to connect the dots in the third installment. While acknowledging that the issue would be a horror, Williamson also promised it would have a lot of fun as well, along with the dark humor. Also, by keeping the essence of Superman in his comics, Williamson declared these 3 issues as his favorite DC Comics work till now.
