Amidst Controversies, Kanye West to Take ‘30 Day Cleanse’ Fast Says “but my Twitter still lit”
From White Lives Matter to hate speeches, Kanye West continues to stir up controversy. The rapper is one of the most celebrated musicians globally yet, he is in the news for the wrong reasons lately. Although he is credited with experimenting with his music and bringing spectacular stage performances, his antics attract hordes of criticism.
Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband got himself banned from social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram a few days back due to his anti-Semitic remarks. But now that he is back again, he also claimed to go on a 30-day cleansing break.

Kanye West to talk to nobody while on his 30-day cleanse break
The Donda rapper was banned from the micro-blogging site when he posted anti-semitic views on the platform. This came after he accused the Jewish people of controlling Sean Diddy Combs. His remarks not only got him removed from the platform, but also from the headquarters of Skechers.

However, things changed in his favor at least when it came to free speech on the microblogging site when Elon Musk became the owner. As soon as the tech mogul acquired Twitter, Ye’s account was restored. And he became active on the site again.

He let his fans know that he was going on a 30-day cleanse fast. He captioned it, “I’m talking to nooobody for a month.” In his post, he detailed the number of things he will refrain from in the coming 30 days – adult films, intercourse, and alcohol. Lastly, he added that his Twitter still continues to be lit.

His tweet cost him millions of dollars. Several brands from Balenciaga, GAP, and Adidas stepped back from their deal with him. As a result, his net worth suffered a few million dollars. He had moaned his losses previously claiming that unknown powers were trying to destroy him. And he raised even more eyebrows when he compared his situation to the death of George Floyd.
