The official account of Variety recently shared a clip of the muscle god of Hollywood talking to the host. The American actor was asked how he feels about Henry Cavill and Black Adam having no future in the DC Studios. In his response, the Jumanji star stated: “All that I could do and that we could do for making Black Adam was to put our best forth and run ourselves for the best people.”

The Rock mentioned that they tried to deliver their best, however, the audience and critic reviews said otherwise. Since the DC Universe is on a reboot with their new coaches James Gunn and Peter Safran, there is nothing anyone can do now.

As for the outfit, the Red Notice star looked enchanting in his coral jacket and a black bow at the event.

Dwayne Johnson slammed Black Adam rumors 

In January, Dwayne Johnson sat down with Morgan Brennan to talk about the rumors of how his multi-year partnership with Black Adam failed. According to the rumors, the Skyscraper star was going to lead this iconic character for a long time in the DC Universe. However, the turn of events and the unfavorable reaction of fans stole the opportunity from him.

Clearing out the air of all these rumors, the California-based superstar stated that this is not true. The actor did have a meeting with David Zaslav and his business partner, Dany Garcia, but it wasn’t about Black Adam. “Her and myself went in, we sat with David, and we did not pitch a ten-year plan at all,” explained the Tooth Fairy star.
