Ahead of November Release, ‘The Crown’ Season 5 Resumes Shooting Days after Queen Elizabeth’s Demise

After the sad demise of Queen Elizabeth a few days back, the heavy mournings and tributes continue to linger to this day. While some paid their honor to the late Queen by deciding not to play her again, some have continued to tell the story of the royals more gracefully than ever. The famous Royal series, The Crown Season 5, portraying the life in Buckingham Palace, has continued with its shooting.

The fifth season of The Crown chronicles the glorious decades of the monarch. The Crown covered everything from Princess Elizabeth’s marriage to Prince Phillip to the time of her coronation on the throne. However, it was earlier confirmed that the production would stop filming the series after the sad demise of the Queen out of respect. Nevertheless, their decision now runs in another direction.

The Crown resumes filming amidst the Queen’s heartbreaking death

As confirmed by People‘s magazine, The Crown of Netflix has continued with its filming process in Spain amidst the rituals. This was revealed to the spectators through several leaked footage and pictures from the sets. The pictures showed the rightfully chosen actress, Elizabeth Debicki, possessing an uncanny resemblance with Princess Diana.

Although The Queen’s death has shaken everyone off their feet, people are still eagerly waiting to glimpse Diana again. The pictures show her recreating Diana’s trip to Bosnia in 1997 ahead of her tragic death in the same year. This season will mainly revolve around the evergreen princess and her charm that sparked the 80s.
