After the Infamous Oscar Incident, Will Smith Bears the Brunt Yet Again, Gets Banned From SNL
The talks surrounding the infamous slap gate controversy featuring Chris Rock and Will Smith are not going to die anytime soon in the future. During the Oscars in March 2022, Smith shocked the entire entertainment fraternity by slapping comedian and host Chris. The American star made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada’s bald head, which did not go well with the actor.
The consequences of the entire fiasco have been brutal for the King Richard star. Earlier in the year, Will Smith was banned from all the Academy events for a period of ten years. It is now learned that he will never be able to attend Saturday Night Live (SNL) ever in his life. The legendary show has imposed a lifetime ban on the actor. Scroll down to know everything about the ban.

Will Smith to not attend SNL
Saturday Night Live is all about comedians, and the members of the show are extremely miffed with what Will Smith did to one of their contemporaries. It is revealed that not only they have banned the actor from hosting the show in the future, but he will also not be allowed to watch it as an audience in the stadium.
“Smith will never ever be invited back to SNL after what he did to Chris. The show is a temple comedian, and no one wants him around anymore. Forget hosting. Will won’t even be able to get a ticket to sit in the audience anymore,” sources close to SNL said, as quoted by RadarOnline.com.

Further, the credible source revealed that Smith had lost the support of all A-list actors who hosted the show. Saturday Night Live would not be able to invite any big celebrity to their show ever again if they welcome the King Richard actor inside Studio 8H.
Notably, Will Smith has not physically been part of the legendary comic show. However, he has been impersonated by a number of other artists on the stage time and again. Tim Meadows was the first one to mimic him while doing a sketch named VH1 Spirituality Awards on November 14, 1998. Over the years, artists like Jay Pharoah, Chris Redd, and others imitated him during the show.
