Courteney Monroe, who is a content head for National Geographic, is confident about the series being an entertaining success.

She believes that the series will help viewers have a different perspective and spread knowledge about animals through a modern fun twist. It also guarantees content that will be a result of sound and solid research.

Underdogs will have ten episodes with an unconventional take on the wildlife on the planet. The channel has two more unnamed projects lined up.
