After tapping away in Spirited, Ryan Reynolds is set to narrate the lives of animals. The actor seems to see no end to his capacity to expand his career’s horizon. While he has already aced in Hollywood as an actor, it will be his first experience lending his voice to a National Geographic project.
The entrepreneur also has his own production company called Maximum Effort, which he co-owns with George Dewey. The company will be co-producing the National Geographic series along with Bafta Award winner Wildstar Films. But what exactly does Reynolds intend to narrate and achieve with this series?

As per Realscreen, the actor will be narrating the National Geographic series called Underdogs. “I love nature series and I love making things my kids can actually watch,” said the actor while revealing what one can expect from the show. The entertainer admired Wildstar’s experience and National Geographics ability to give space for creating something entertaining, knowledgeable, yet natural.
The series will showcase parenting skills, courtship habits, camouflage techniques, and more animals in their natural habitat. It will have executive producers like Reynolds’ Maximum Effort along with Vanessa Berlowitz, Mark Linfield, and Dan Rees for Wildstar. Courteney Monroe, who is a content head for National Geographic, is confident about the series being an entertaining success.

She believes that the series will help viewers have a different perspective and spread knowledge about animals through a modern fun twist. It also guarantees content that will be a result of sound and solid research.

Underdogs will have ten episodes with an unconventional take on the wildlife on the planet. The channel has two more unnamed projects lined up. While more details on any of these projects are yet to be announced, the teaser of Underdogs is out now. Meanwhile, Reynolds is already shooting for Deadpool 3 and is in talks to purchase another sports team; it will be interesting to see the actor juggle it all.
