After Kanye West, Balenciaga Brand Ambassador Kim Kardashian Lashes Out at the Brand for Its Controversial BDSM-Themed Ad

Because of her controversial relationship with her ex-husband, Kanye West, she had to face a lot, too. However, the social media personality is more than that. She is a socialite who finally spoke against the Balenciaga holiday campaign.
Kardashian was featured in the Balenciaga advertisements in the past. However, she doesn’t support anyone crossing the line at all. Recently, Balenciaga published an advertisement featuring children that she and many others found inappropriate. She spoke up about it and went against the whole campaign.

Kim Kardashian found Balenciaga’s advertisement disgusting
Balenciaga recently published their holiday advertisement featuring kids. Many people found it disgusting and accused them of sexualizing children, and spoke up against it, including Kanye West, who had recently cut ties with the brand following controversial remarks. The rapper went as far as calling out celebrities who weren’t speaking up against the brand. And now Kim Kardashian joins the list of people lashing out at Balenciaga.
Kardashian posted on her Twitter about how she was evaluating her relationship with the brand. Before her statement, she was criticized for her silence since the new ad reached the public, so in her tweet, she explain why she remained silent during the first few days of the news breaking out.

Being a mother of four children, she opened up about the disturbing images of the campaign. She also added children’s safety must be the priority for anyone. Normalizing child abuse shouldn’t have any place in our society. The campaign showed children holding a teddy bear in bondage gear with a document from the Supreme Court ruling on child sexual abuse. Indeed, it seems disturbing, thus the Skky Partners founder spoke up against it.

Balenciaga removed the ad with an apology from their social media handles and also filed a $25 million suit against North Six Inc., a production company. Nicholas Des Jardins, the set designer, also faces a suit for including a Supreme Court document in the ad. However, based on their apology, Kim Kardashian is re-evaluating her relationship with Balenciaga.
