After The Matrix, Keanu Reeves became a huge recognition. While climbing the ladder of success, the Canadian actor gave his fans many iconic movies, including his recent one, John Wick. Just before the release of John Wick: Chapter 4, the actor has signed an exciting project as an antagonist alongside Will Smith in his upcoming film.

After the slapping incident, fans were not sure about Smith’s future. However, the actor came back with a bang in Emancipation. And now, as the I Am Legend sequel is confirmed, Keanu Reeves has joined the cast as an antagonist, as per Giant Freakin Robot. However, no more details are available as to which antagonist he would play. There are a few roles suitable for The Matrix star in I Am Legend 2. He could play one of the Darkseekers, the vampire-like villains from the first film. Given his powerful personality, he could be the leader of the mutants.

Apart from the Darkseeker, Reeves could be the leader of humans who is against the Emancipation star in the film. The sequel could see one of the human leaders turning things upside down to their own advantage. And that one leader could be Keanu Reeves. And lastly, he could be a part of a small human survivor group that sees the lead actors with skepticism. Keanu Reeves could be the one who thinks he is always making things right, even if it is not so.

While we can only speculate which character Reeves might play, the Men in Black actor is also ready to star in other films as well.

Apart from this post-apocalyptic film sequel, the 54-year-old actor is also going to star in the sequel of his famous rom-com film, Hitch. Hitch became a fan favorite as soon as hit the theaters.
