The creepy and kooky teen series is nominated for Best Horror Series, Limited Series or TV Movie. Meanwhile, the lead actress is running for the category of Best Actress in a Horror Series, Limited Series or TV Movie.

With such huge nominations, the Scream queen and this fan-favorite show are getting a strong foothold in the entertainment world. Ortega is running against celebrities like Jennifer Coolidge (The Watcher), Katja Herbers (Evil), Natasia Demetriou (What We Do in the Shadows), and Niecy Nash-Betts (Dahmer)
Not to forget, she is also facing her costar Christina Ricci, who appeared in the comedy horror series playing Marilyn Thornhill. For the unversed, this American actress previously portrayed the role of Wednesday Addams in the 1991 film The Addams Family.

Tim Burton promised fans more torture as Jenna Ortega announced the return of gothic fantasy drama in a video released on Jan 6. In the clip, this deadpan teenager thanked viewers for making this show a pop culture phenomenon on Netflix. “I’ve been hunted, haunted, and mimicked millions of times across the internet. It’s been pure torture. Thank you,” said Wednesday.

Although the creators haven’t revealed any details of season 2, Emma Myers did tease about the love life of Wednesday. Speaking with Variety, the actress revealed that the Addams’ daughter would prefer to be single after experiencing so much chaos previously.
“She just had a whole fiasco with her men, she’s got to lay it off for a little bit. I would be deterred from dating anybody if I had gone through that,” explained The Glades star.
