We have come weeks after the American streaming giant launched the record-breaking docuseries of all time, Harry & Meghan. Sponsored by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves, the six-part-docuseries gave an in-depth actual analysis of what exactly goes on behind the closed doors of Buckingham Palace in England. The couple, as promised, brought out some shocking revelations about The Firm and its practices that have been continuing since the glorious yet tragic era of Lady Diana.

Prior to their multi-million kickstart to their Netflix deal, the self-exiled couple had already achieved some massive endeavors through their other big hits. Meghan Markle’s Archetypes podcast was one of them where the Duchess discussed some sensitive and eye-opening topics along with world-renowned personalities. However, various publishers and reports have gone over the Netflix special with a fine-tooth comb. As a result, certain statements proved to be otherwise than what the Duke and Duchess had commented.

Every time sources went contradictory to Harry and Meghan

One of the major contrasting revelations made by the Duchess was Archie’s nursery fire incident of 2019. Talking about it for the first time on a public platform with Serena Williams, Meghan Markle affirmed in her podcast that Archie was in the nursery while the heater caught fire. His nanny, Lorren Khumalo had gone downstairs to bring a last-minute snack before she put the then-newborn to sleep. However, sources from Cape Town have allegedly downplayed the incidents. Sources reported to the tabloids that it was a smoking heater and not a fire”.

In another instance with Paris Hilton on Archetypes, Meghan Markle described her early acting career. Her remarks at the Deal or No Deal gave rise to another wave of controversies as Markle affirmed she was treated like a “Bimbo”. Apparently, she did not like the way she was objectified on stage although she was grateful as it paid for her bills. Rejecting the same was Claudia Jordan, among a couple of former co-stars of the same live show, who claimed, “the show never treated them like bimbos“. On the contrary, it rather gave them a myriad of opportunities, the star said.

The controversy surrounding the Netflix docuseries has also taken a devastating turn as a close acquaintance of Buckingham Palace claimed the Royal Family was not approached to make any comments about Harry & Meghan. The docuseries on the other hand wrote, “Members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within the series“. However, sources from the Palace have continued to claim the complete opposite.

Talking about Meeting Prince William and Kate Middleton for the first time, Meghan and Harry gave an extremely indifferent perspective of their in-laws. Markle alleged that she was always a hugger and she wanted it to be a familiar meet rather than an official one. However, according to them, William Kate Middleton kept their guard up and did not even open up for a hug. In contrast to the same, an anonymous friend of the Princess of Wales said to People magazine that Kate is always a big hugger. She is quite affectionate…and it comes naturally to her to be like that,” said the source.
