The 1985 Billboard Hot “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush has been insanely tracked by the fans of Stranger Things. After seeing the instant popularity of the song, Kate Bush opened up about her views on Stranger Things. In a rare post on her website, Kate talked about the exciting resurgence of this classic song from the Hounds of Love album.

The song made its comeback through the intriguing supernatural series Stranger Things season 4 volume 1. Since the release of the show, this song became utterly popular amongst the young fans of Stranger Things. They were repeatedly streaming the song and reviewed about it on the internet. And Kate Bush liked that the modern generation is showing interest in a 40-year-old song.

Bush reacted to the new fanship of the song by writing a statement on her official web page. She stated that viewers might have watched the fantastic new season of Stranger Things released on Netflix and that the season has channeled her famous song. She belives that the fans has brought “a whole new lease of life” to the song.

The singer showed her gratitude towards fans who brought ‘Running Up That Hill’ back into the limelight

Kate Bush also thanked fans for making the song trend worldwide. Since the music of “Dear Billyhas entered the top 10 of the UK music chart, she is delighted to see the love people have shown for her song. Moreover, Kate stated that she was an admirer of Stranger Things even before they added her song in episode 4.

In addition, Variety revealed how this classic rock music became the part of the show, as it was Kate Bush who recommended the show’s music coordinator to use this song for Max’s trance. Music supervisor Nora Felder appreciated Bush’s lyrics in an interview with Variety
