Before fans could see more of Superman, Warner Bros, and James Gunn, let Henry Cavill go. In October 2022, since the British actor announced his return as the iconic character, fans became extremely excited. However, after the post-credit scenes in Black Adam, the new DC boss axed the actor. Despite the Superman actor shooting a cameo for the upcoming movie, The Flash, before his exit, the studio was not planning on including it in the film. However, recent rumors suggest otherwise.

As per The Direct, The Flash’s recent endorsement of the upcoming DC film referred to the return of Cavill’s Superman. Barry Allen managed to put the world in danger by using his superpowers. As General Zod returned, Berry was trapped in an alternate reality where there were no superheroes. While Barry was looking for Batman, he found and rescued the imprisoned Kryptonian. However, it is not whom he was looking for.

While these lines refer to a Kryptonian, the first thing that comes to the minds of the readers is Superman. So, is there a possibility of the return of Cavill’s Superman? Does this mean they kept The Witcher star’s cameo in the final cut of the film? Well, there is no official announcement regarding the same from James Gunn nor from Warner Bros. Thus, these are strictly speculations. However, fans are hoping it to be true.

Thanks to Snyder’s Justice League, Ezra Miller’s Flash and Cavill’s Superman have appeared together before. Therefore, if they both would come back together in the upcoming film, it wouldn’t be a surprise for the fandom. So, does this mean it would be the final goodbye for The Tudors star?

Cavill’s Superman previously had a cameo where Flash looked at him and wondered where he was. While there were confirmations about Cavill shooting the cameo for the forthcoming DC film, keeping him in the final cut would make sense. Sources revealed the film’s original cut had Cavill’s Superman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, and Ben Affleck’s Batman as well. Moreover, because of the history of Flash and Superman together, this last appearance would make the fandom extremely happy.

There were rumors about axing Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman cameo from the film as well. Fans are not happy with all the happenings as they think these actors deserve a proper sendoff.

Fans are furious because of the controversial statement by James Gunn about his appointment at the DCU. They are even planning to sue Warner Bros for misleading fans and using their favorite actors.
