His father was a member of The Black Panther Party. Eligibility aside, the man has shown his confidence and intention of leading the world to his vision. After the 45th President’s term ended in 2020, his staunch supporter Kanye West made up his mind. Yes, he did a campaign to run as the President of the United States of America. His slogan? ‘YES! #2020VISION’. It may sound like a mix of Obama and Trump’s campaign slogans, but we do not know. What we do know is his strategy to run the Government if he had won the election. The Flashing Lights singer wanted to model it after the Black Panther’s political structure. “I’m gonna use the framework of Wakanda right now because it’s the best explanation of what our design group is going to feel like in the White House,” he said in an interview with Forbes.

Black Panther was a 2018 Marvel Comics action movie revolving around political ideas in a fantasy world. While most considered his campaign as a mere publicity stunt and meme content, elections brought out his followers as well. After spending $6 million on the campaign, a surprising 70000 voters across 12 states got onto West’s train of thought.
