Set in the 90s, Everything Sucks shows teen love in an age without technology. It’s the definition of old-school romance. It’s a story about a bunch of teens aspiring to make a movie and the problems they’re faced with, in that era. The role was a pivotal one for Euphoria star Sidney Sweeney, so we know it has good acting. The critical ratings of the show are quite good too.
Ginny and Georgia
Ginny and Georgia got known for how unexpectedly great it turned out to be. It follows a family of 3, across an affluent British town where the trio has escaped, to start a new life. The 15-year-old Ginny is maturer than her 30-year-old mom, Georgia, and the other daughter Austin is a welcome distraction to Ginny and Georgia’s otherwise constantly complicated life.
Never Have I Ever
Never have I ever aptly shows the struggles an Indian teen girl might face in the American world. It doesn’t only highlight the Indians as a minority but other ethnicities too. Devi is a 15 yr old, struggling with mental health issues, love, and insecurities about her eccentric family. The show incorporates dialogues from a psychologist, Devi’s doctor mom, and her ghost father, endowing wisdom about her problems, giving the show some depth.
Sex Education
Sex education blew up as soon as it came out. Like the Heartstopper, this story too was inclusive of LGBT+ stories. It needed little to no publicity for its flamboyance captured everyone’s attention. It has an intricately written plot that crisscrosses the paths of its characters in great detail. It’s a story about a bunch of high-school-going kids struggling with sexual questions or insecurities.

The End of the F***ing World
If you’re looking for the best amalgamation of a teen love story with crime, The End of the F***ing World is your perfect match. With each episode less than 30 mins long, it’s the easiest show to binge. It also saddens the viewer for the same reason, it finishes off too soon. It’s a story of two runaway teens who break into an empty house and encounter a rapid turn of events. Their journey becomes even harder when their dreaded fate decides to not leave them alone.
