Ginny and Georgia get viewers on a journey filled with drama, criminal activities, racial discussions, and some other thrilling events. The mother-daughter drama series follows 15-year old girl Ginny Miller and her strange mother Georgia Miller. Created by Sarah Lampert, the series got a renewal from <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/category/news/">Netflix</a> and the popular streaming platform decided to continue with the series.
Although the series started in a quite wholesome way, the 10-episode adventure left viewers eagerly waiting for another season. Georgia Miller&#8217;s past did not leave her and her daughter Ginny Miller also had her personal demons. The new place they wanted to call home has now become the eye of the storm. So, what is the release date of Ginny and Georgia season 2?

Netflix announced that it has confirmed Ginny and Georgia in April 2021 and renewed the series for the next season. So the second season is officially in the works and it will consist of 10 episodes like the previous one.
Though we will have to wait for some time before watching the new episodes. Ginny and Georgia season 2 will probably arrive in early 2022. It might take more than that due to the pandemic.

Although Netflix has not shared an official trailer for the upcoming season, it has shared a video consisting of a few clips from the cast. The actors and the actresses of the series give the good news in a funny way in the 1-minute video.
Here&#8217;s the Ginny and Georgia official synopsis:
&#8220;Free-spirited Georgia and her two kids, Ginny and Austin, move north in search of a fresh start but find that the road to new beginnings can be bumpy.&#8221;

The showrunner of Ginny and Georgia thanked the fans of the show and also appreciated the leading actresses. And the talented names in the series also talked about how excited they are about the second season. Antonia Gentry who plays Ginny Miller said that she wanted her character to be a bit like her mother Georgia before the renewal news:
&#8220;I would not know what is going to happen in case the series gets renewal, but I really wish to see Ginny to be more reckless like her mother.
The unsolved drama that happened in the season 1 finale will unravel in the next season. Georgia&#8217;s actions will definitely have some consequences.
