A month ago, the trailer for John Krasinski’s Imaginary Friends made its way online. While the world had already gotten behind-the-scenes looks at Ryan Reynolds on set before, it was revealed that he would be helping kids reconnect with their imaginary friends. With the storyline revolving around a child who can see everyone’s imaginary friends, there is no doubt that the star will bring his hilariousness into it, just like he did with Detective Pikachu.

In 2019, the 47-year-old stunned the world when he teamed up with Pokemon to bring the character to life. While it might not be his best or most popular role, it did end up showing his fans that the father of four could take on anything. Thankfully, fans will not have to wait too long until the film is released. It is set to make its way to theaters on 17th May 2024.

Although not much else is known about his upcoming role, it is evident that the actor will, without a doubt, do his best to have his fans connect with the character.

John Krasinski’s role in Imaginary Friends

In 2022, John Krasinski opened up about his plans to team up with Ryan Reynolds for the upcoming film Imaginary Friends. While he was a part of the cast, that was not the only thing he did. In fact, he ended up pulling quadruple duty as the film’s writer, director, producer, and co-star. With no scenes of the actor making their way into the trailer, not much is known about his role.

However, with the actor being a fan favorite since his time on The Office, there is no doubt that he will bring a different perspective to the whole story. While fans will have to wait to find out more about his role, they are already head over heels for the promise of a reunion between him and his former co-star, Steve Carell.
