Over the years, the world has seen Ryan Reynolds take up many roles. From actor to businessman, he has dived into various endeavors. Now, the Deadpool star seems to be gearing up for the Christmas season with his new Mint Mobile advertisement. While he may no longer have a stake in the company, it has not stopped him from pitching in whenever he can.

The ad promoted a deal that was sure to capture everyone’s interest, but Ryan Reynolds brought his own magic touch to it.

In a post on Instagram, The Adam Project star gave his fans a brand new offer for his former mobile company. The offer stated that users could pay for 3 months and get an additional 3 months free. The clip started off with him, all covered up with a jacket until he whipped it off to show he was in front of a green screen. While the ad is sure to garner attention, the actor added to it by remaining a part of the brand.

In his monologue, he even threw some shade at “big wireless companies” and said that Mint Mobile was not the same. That may be true given that the actor not only promoting their mobile plans but also using them himself.

While this promotion of Mint Mobile definitely caught attention, it was not Ryan Reynolds’ first Christmas-themed ad this year.

Ryan Reynolds teamed up with Amy Smart

Years after teaming up for the early 2000 hit film, Just Friends, the duo of Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart got together again. While most would have thought that it was an announcement for a sequel or something exciting, it turned out to be for his Aviation American Gin company. The video, which was posted to Instagram, showed both the stars standing in front of a Christmas-themed backdrop.

While the world was enamored at seeing the stars together, their little skit had audiences howling with laughter. Even Hugh Jackman thought that it seemed pretty apt for the characters to act that way with each other. In fact, their on-screen chemistry used to be so good that fans wondered whether they were ever actually in a romantic relationship all those years ago.
