Ryan Reynolds’ Love for K-Pop Boyband ‘Stray Kids’ Hypes Again Ahead of New Album
It is 2023, and the word has come very far from when it knew K-Pop as a kind of music phenomenon privy to only teenage girls. And while the rigorous training that the artists involved go through plays a part, Ryan Reynolds and his love for K-Pop deserve credit. More specifically, his love for the fourth-generation JYP boy group Stray Kids.
This tale of mutual admiration and love has been capsulized by numerous Wattpad fanfictions and seems like it will go on for quite a while. Especially as Ryan Reynolds has added another chapter.

The Deadpool actor has found Twitter to be his comfort place. It would seem like the 21.4 Million people who follow him have found theirs in his tweets. And a lot of them belong to the Stray Kids fandom. Therefore, as he hyped the release of the group’s third studio album, ‘5-Star’, by liking multiple tweets, it did not go unnoticed.
The 8 member boy group will be releasing their upcoming album on the 2nd of June. And fans made sure that the group’s arguably biggest fanboy in the States did not miss the news, especially as he has been filming the third installment of his blockbuster action franchise, Deadpool.
Reynolds’ love for the group does not stop at making sure that he is recognized as a part of the fandom. Much like anything that he does, he has taken his relationship with Stray Kids up by a notch. For the band may feature in his upcoming MCU flick.
Will Stray Kids be a part of Deadpool 3?
Ryan Reynolds first spotted the group when they performed a Deadpool inspired choreography for Kingdom: Legendary War. And since then he has become a fan of not only their music but also how they add music and dance with action sequences, as he said in an interview with Bang Chan, a member of Stray Kids who is on “big brother” basis with Ryan Reynolds.

The actor let slip his love for Bang Chan as he dedicated a snippet from Free Guy to him on his birthday. Given how the football club owner has already let them into his professional sphere, fans are convinced they will see Stray Kids in Deadpool 3. This could be a featured artist on the soundtrack or as a full-blown cameo. And this assumption is not purely based on Reynolds’ ability to tie various elements together but again because of his Twitter activity.
