What many might not know about the movie is Will Smith getting stuck amidst the production and his then 8-year-old Jaden helping him out.
Back in 2006, the actor sat down with Live About to talk about the new experience of working with his son in a movie. During the interview, he revealed that he was struggling with a scene. Even after taking the shot several times, he couldn’t make it right. That’s when the rapper stepped in and asked why he was doing the same thing over and over.

“And I was like, you know, I was a little offended by that. But what he was saying was that innately he couldn’t understand how I was reading everything exactly the same way every time,” he stated. The Karate Kid star made him realize that this wasn’t real when he was pushing himself to make it real.
It’s no secret that the Bad Boys star delves into the character entirely when he picks something. However, his son unknowingly gave him a lesson that spontaneity can be good. Even now, things have remained the same as his kids teach them new things about technology and social media. While in return, he uses his knowledge to express his excitement about seeing his kids succeed, like any loving father.

More than six years have passed since Jaden Smith launched the music video for his song ‘ICON’. So when the track garnered 100 million streams on Spotify, Will Smith celebrated this success uniquely. The 54-year-old posted a parody of the same on his Instagram congratulating his son for achieving this milestone.
He recreated all the shots emulating his son head-to-toe, along with the haircut, gold chains, and clothing. It was quite hilarious to see but having a father like him does come with some perks.
