Out of all the movies that are making a shift from 20th Century Fox to Marvel Studios, Deadpool 3 is generating the most amount of buzz. Partly because of Ryan Reynolds‘ return to the iconic Wade Wilson, and also because of Hugh Jackman’s reprisal of Wolverine after 2017’s Logan. Additionally, the unending stream of casting rumors swirling around A-listers of the industry has also been contributing to the hype of the show. 

One of the speculations that was a real attention-grabber was Daniel Radcliffe playing Wolverine in Deadpool 3. However, recently the Harry Potter star denied any connection to the rumor mill.

Recently, during a lie detector test for Vanity Fair, Daniel Radcliffe broke his silence on the Wolverine rumors. The star revealed the real reason for his buffing up, which had nothing to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Radcliffe shared that he went through a physical transformation because of his parents, who are “insane fitness people”. He further went on to put an end to all the speculations, saying, “No Wolverine. Flattered, but no.” 

There have been numerous speculations about Daniel Radcliffe clawing to play Wolverine in the upcoming Shawn Levy movie of MCU. These rumors began to spread after Radcliff went through a physical transformation. This transformation made everyone suspect that perhaps Marvel was eyeing him to take on the role of the clawed mutant until Hugh Jackman confirmed his reprisal. However, Radcliff is not the only celebrity who got caught in the rumor mill. 

Taylor Swift is also a name among the extensive line-up of celebrities who found herself amidst the casting rumors of Deadpool 3.

News swirling around Taylor Swift took momentum ever since eagle-eyed fans noticed the venue of Deadpool 3’s announcement video. As per the fans, the filming took place in the same house where Swift shot her award-winning short film All Too Well. Recently, Swift attended Travis Kelce’s match with Reynolds and Shawn levy, which further added fuel to the fire. Swift is officially a fan choice for the mutant disco superheroine, Dazzler. 

Both Reynolds and Levy refused to confirm the rumors, making fans tap their feet in anticipation. These speculations gave rise to a fan art on social media by Kode Abdo, that kept everyone talking about the ‘Shake It Off’ actress’s Marvel debut. Though there is a chance of a delay in Deadpool 3 owing to the strikes, these speculations are surely keeping the buzz alive around the franchise.
