So far, the world has only seen films, such as Deadpool 3, getting pushed back more and more because of the SAG-AFTRA strike. However, it looks like that might finally be changing. Paramount Pictures recently revealed that the release date for John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds’ If, which was once titled Imaginary Friends, had been set to release a week earlier than it was supposed to.
The movie, which was initially set to make its way to the big screen on May 24, 2024, will now be arriving in theatres on May 17. While that was enough to send fans of the stars into a frenzy, they have not seen anything as of yet. With Krasinski at the helm of the fantasy comedy, one thing is for sure, fans are in for a treat when the film makes its theatrical release.
While the film already sports two huge Hollywood names, they are only the tip of the iceberg as the film has a completely star-studded cast.
John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds are joined by Hollywood’s fan favorites
John Krasinski has outdone himself once again. Apart from coming up with a storyline like no other, The Office alum also brought in a few helping hands to uplift the out-of-the-box film. Even though he had Ryan Reynolds on his side once again, the 44-year-old did not stop there. The visionary added more stars to his cast to give his film more of the star factor. From his wife, Emily Blunt, to his long-time friend and former costar, Steve Carell, he added a long list of actors to his fantasy comedy.

The cast will be acting as the imaginary friends that his main character can see after their childhood friends grow up. While the film has already caused quite a stir in the fandoms, there is a little bit of a wait left before they can dive into the dynamic film. In fact, the recent developments have even reignited hope and curiosity among Krasinski’s fans.
