Hugh Jackman is having the time of his life. A cocktail of highs and lows has defined the Wolverine actor as he entered his 55th year a couple of days ago. From starring alongside Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3 to having to face a divorce, tumultuous barely fits the bill. Yet, the ever-spirited actor was in no mood to sit back and languish as he joined Wrexham co-owner, Rob McElhenney, along with the entire cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

The actor’s public appearance comes mere weeks after he cheered on Travis Kelce at the Chiefs versus Jets game along with Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds, and Blake Lively.

Hugh Jackman hangs out with the Wrexham co-owners, one at a time

After sending out a throwback photo on his birthday, the 55-year-old actor went about his days. Ever since his divorce announcement, Hugh Jackman has taken to the company of his friends to get some much-needed solace. The latest of whom is Wrexham AFC’s co-owner, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia co–creator and actor, Rob McElhenney. In an Instagram story, the X-Men actor acknowledged McElhenney and the show’s entire star cast for having him along at the Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Running since 2005, the show, which recently concluded its 16th season, will return for the next. The sitcom is about five friends and an Irish bar star McElhenney as Ronald ‘Mac’ McDonald. The 46-year-old remains the only one among the stellar cast to be actually from Philadelphia. Sharing Reynolds as their best mate, the duo has gotten along and spotted at several of Wrexham’s matches.

Meanwhile, over at Marvel Studios, Hugh Jackman’s hotly anticipated outing stands stalled at the moment.

As Deadpool 3 copes with a production halt, director Shawn Levy amps up its star cast

It is no secret that the Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer Deadpool 3, is the most anticipated comic book movie of recent times. Furthermore, the acclaimed crossover is passing through murky waters owing to the SAG-AFTRA strikes. While the Kevin Feige-led team is busy navigating through the loggerheads, its director, Shawn Levy, moves ahead with an ambitious plan.

Leaving no stone unturned in turning Deadpool 3 into a movie comparable to the likes of Spiderman: No Way Home and Captain America: Civil War in terms of its crossover quotient, Levy has added many new faces to the cast beyond Reynolds and Jackman. While it is pretty well-known that the original X-Men cast is expected to feature, it looks like Tom Hiddleston could well be on his way along with the TVA after the Loki Season 2 premiere. Regardless, whatever the outcome, fans should buckle up for a treat.
