It’s great to watch on-screen actors extend their professional relationships to their personal lives, assisting one another. Bob Odenkirk, the star of Better Call Saul, had a similar experience. Rhea Seehorn, his costar, assisted him during a medical emergency.

Odenkirk experienced a heart attack while filming the Breaking Bad spin-off in July 2021, and was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On set, Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian were the ones that requested help for Bob. Meanwhile, after dialing the medics, the on-set health safety supervisor and one of the assistant directors began administering CPR.

Odenkirk told The New York Times earlier this year that he had used his fitness bike and had just fallen to the floor during the exercise. Shortly after the incident, he was doing well. Soon thereafter, he began filming for the sixth season. Rhea Seehorn and Bob Odenkirk recently met on the red carpet at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards and discussed the shocking experience, with Entertainment Tonight.

When asked about the frightening event, Bob mentioned Rhea Seehorn, “She got scared, I wasn’t scared. I can’t remember a thing of it.” Although he doesn’t recall much of it, he recalls all of his fans’ and relatives’ responses. Those reactions affected him and will continue to affect him. Seehorn commented on his recovery, saying, “It was a fantastic thing to have him make it out of that.”

Bob Odenkirk teases Better Call Saul season 6

With Better Call Saul‘s sixth and final season just around the corner, the actor was bound to tease fans. “Best season ever, final season, it’s bananas, it’s crazy” Odenkirk promised. He also joked about the possibility of an animated series based on Saul Babies.
