In a moment of sympathy and relatability, One-Punch Man’s artist sent out a message to Kōhei Horikoshi of My Hero Academia.

Anime creators are hailed for their work and contribution by fans around the world. But reaching that stage is not a simple task. There are often reports of people in the anime field getting paid less, going through rough cut-off times, high expectations, and overall difficulties. The credit, however, comes only after the series proves to be successful. So Murata took to Twitter to appeal to Horikoshi by writing, “Horikoshi-sensei, please take care of yourself.” He stressed the importance of health in the tweet posted on 7th April.

Now, the Barrage creator has gone on three breaks since 2023 itself. The reason for his latest break is deemed to be issues and corrections in production, but the previous breaks certainly came from going through health issues. On the other hand, Murata also will also be taking a month’s break to rest. But the artist is working hard on several projects, including the upcoming classic anime Zaiyuki.
