You showrunner talks about season 3: “New episodes are f***ing bonkers”
‘YOU‘ showrunner Sera Gamble talked about the hard production process of season 3. She mentioned how they managed to shoot it despite the pandemic.
‘YOU‘ season 3 is coming. Many fans are excited about the new installment of Netflix‘s popular drama. Unfortunately, YOU were among the productions that went through some hard times because of the pandemic. The process was halted for some time, and that pushed back the release date. However, the crew did their best to shoot YOU season 3 in the midst of the pandemic. The result seems to be good as well.
This new interview made by the series showrunner Sera Gamble. She talked about how the crew handled the production process. The showrunner announced that they wrapped the shooting for the new season. Gamble also implied that the new season was going to have some amazing episodes. On top of that, the performances are “insanely good” according to her. The showrunner refused to elaborate more until they were ready to talk about the new season.

Apparently, they got through the whole thing insanely well compared to the other productions. After explaining how they managed the process in such a hard time, she said: “A year ago, we had no idea how shooting this season would be possible. I mean… YOU don’t really work if there’s no romance or, y’know, murder-type contact.”

Even though it is not soon, we know that YOU season 3 is underway. The new season is coming in Q4 2021 according to Netflix‘s chief content officer Ted Sarandos.
