One of the most lovable things about Netflix is its extensive anime library compared to other OTT platforms. Whether it is Naruto or Demon Slayer, Netflix has it all. Jujutsu Kaisen synopsis

The show tells us the story of Yuji Itadori, a good-hearted adolescent, joins his school’s Occult Club for fun but soon learns that its members are real sorcerers who can control the energy between creatures for their own gain. He learns about a cursed talisman – the demon Sukuna’s finger – being hunted down by other cursed entities. Yuji eats the finger and becomes Sukuna’s host to protect his buddies. On the other hand, Yuji realizes that he has inherited magic and can manage it without the help of Sukuna. He enrolls in the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College to swallow all of Sukuna’s fingers, allowing a thorough exorcism to release him.

The show is one of the most popular animes of 2021, even going forward to win the Anime Of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 release date

After almost a year of patiently waiting, there is good news for the fans! Jujutsu Kaisen will officially get a new season. However, this does not come as a big surprise as the show is one of the most popular animes, and has won many awards. Also, the series has plenty of material for at least two new seasons.

MAPPA, the producing studio, announced the show’s renewal at a special event in Japan, with a release date. Initially, it was announced that the show would be arriving in the Winter of 2023.

However, in a follow-up report by Shonen Jump, it was revealed that “Winter” was misinterpreted and that the show will be arriving in 2023. The fans can expect the show to arrive in April or July 2023.

Will JJK Season 2 stream on Netflix?

As season one of JJK is still available for streaming on Netflix, it seems a no-brainer that the new season might come to Netflix also. However, there has been no official news supporting that the new season will come to Netflix first.

Usually, animes first stream on Crunchyroll before coming to Netflix. Season one also came to Netflix after some months. So we can expect the new season to be available from 2024.
