February is coming to an end, and what a better way to enter March than with great movies? Thanks to Netflix’s extensive curated library, we have almost everything to watch. From dramas to horror, from comedy to action-packed thrillers. You name it, and Netflix will indeed have something of your liking. So here is a list of good movies to watch on Netflix while entering March!
Crazy, Stupid, Love
There is no better way to beer into a new month than with love and laughter. Crazy, Stupid, Love is by far the funniest film on Netflix right now. Apart from being extremely hysterical movie has a great lineup of incredible actors. Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, John Carroll Lynch, Marisa Tomei, and Kevin Bacon: all-star in the film.
The film follows a man (Steve Carell) who receives a makeover from an arrogant young womanizer (Ryan Gosling) who advises him how to get back on the dating scene after his wife (Julianne Moore) leaves him. The film tells us the importance of family and upholding relationships in a fun and humorous way. Give it a watch, as we are sure it’ll leave you in splits.
As Good As It Gets
As Good As It Gets is a prime example of what happens when you catch your cast at the right moment. The film is the last one to win the Academy Award for best actor and actress. Jack Nicholson is his charming self in the movie, and Helen Hunt gives a stellar performance as well. The film is a perfect romantic comedy for starting your month with a smile.
A little scare never hurt anybody. If that is your approach to starting a new month, then an all-time classic is the way to go. The Exorcist is as horrific as it was during its initial release in 1973, causing a mild national panic. The film follows a little girl (Linda Blair) who acts abnormally.
Her mother does everything she can to assist her, which leads to, well, you know, the rest of the story. The reality of a mother’s need to keep her kid safe in an unmanageable world juxtaposed against a supernatural war draws you in right away and keeps you hooked long after the film’s two-hour run-time has passed.
Now that Daniel Craig’s run as the charming yet deadly secret agent is complete, Netflix is letting us relive his adventures again. And what better way to enter a month than watching Daniel first ever outing as 007 in Casino Royale. With his license to kill and his way around the ladies, Bond makes this movie one of the most re-watchable films ever.
With The Power of the Dog leading the award buzz, it is mandatory to get introduced to more amazing films by Jane Campion. Bright star is a beautiful film bout love that touches your heart and soul from the first moment.
John Keats, the famed English poet, is played by Ben Whishaw, and the film is set during the last three years of his life when he was profoundly in love with Fanny Brawne, played by Abbie Cornish. Bright Star is a poetic, romantic, and beautiful play based on Andrew Morton’s 1997 memoir.
