Scream

A masked serial killer hunts down a group of kids in this anthology series. After a terrible murder because of cyber-bullying, the startling brutality brings back memories of a previous killing spree that has tormented some, captivated others, and possibly inspired a new killer.

Ray

We watch four short stories of various genres from the legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray, ranging from satire to thriller, all packed in one. Netflix released this anthology series in 2021 with some of the best actors from Bollywood.

Dirty John

True-crime lovers have another series to binge-watch, and it has two seasons only. Season one follows a relationship that should have survived for ages but instead met with a horrific end. The series explores the various perspectives in a story, which might confuse you but will make you question the authenticity of all.

Season two recounts Betty Broderick’s marriage to childhood lover Dan Broderick’s disintegration and the severe psychological impact on Betty. The true-crime anthology series has an IMDb rating of 7.2.

The Haunting of Hill House

The series jumps simultaneously in two timelines, following five adult siblings whose paranormal experiences at Hill House continue to affect them in the present day, and memories portraying events leading up to the family’s escape from the estate on that fateful night in 1992.

This Mike Flanagan-directed series is the first part of The Haunting series with The Haunting of Bly Manor being the second. This anthology series has an IMDb rating of 8.6 and is also a Netflix Original.

Fargo

Being one of the most successful series on Netflix, Fargo was not missing this list. Set in different time periods, a diverse cast of characters deals with a variety of crimes. The only common thread that ties them together is a connection to the Midwest of the United States of America.

Strong performances from the lead cast, good writing, and great direction have earned Fargo an IMDb rating of 8.9.
