Peter Friedlander, Head of Scripted series of US/Canada, explained, “In my ten years at Netflix, it’s been thrilling to see the dropped jaws, the all-caps tweets/the hilarious memes and the passionate theories inspired by these once-in-a-lifetime moments. Genre stories have the power to transport us to new universes like the Upside Down in Stranger Things, teach us new vocabulary like The Witcher and, most importantly, unite us in our shared love of sci-fi, horror, fantasy, anime and everything in between.”
Series coming up on Netflix in 2022
Plenty of shows and films are coming up on Netflix after getting delayed because of the pandemic. While Stranger Things will be back with Season 4, popular shows like The Umbrella Academy (Season 3), Locke & Key (Season 3) and Raising Dion (Season 2) will be on Netflix.

Netflix has confirmed some of 2022 premieres for popular franchises and titles. So, let us look at the release dates and what we can look forward to. Archive 81 will come upon the streamer on January 14, 2022; In From The Cold will come up on January 28, 2022; Raising Dion Season 2 will come up on February 1, 2022; and Vikings: Valhalla will come up on February 25, 2022.
