According to Forbes, Jeffrey Star even commented on the whole rumor and said, “This is so weird … this is so stupid. Let me just say this one time … I like very tall men.” He posted a video on YouTube to acknowledge it, with the title Addressing the Kanye situation. It began when Star posted a selfie of himself with the caption, “I’m ready for Sunday Service.” Ye was known for getting into prayers and Christianity at the time.

The story first broke out on TikTok through an influencer, Ava Louise, who stated that Ye has been hooking up with a social media personality. Although she did not directly mention Star’s name, she did say that it was someone religious. It was enough for everyone to make speculations as they began looking for clues. Both Ye and the cosmetic brand owner were living in Wyoming at the time. Even a source close to the Kardashian family denied flatly denied the rumor.
