Was ‘Mindhunter’ Cancelled? Jonathan Gruff Hints a Possible Season 3
The lead cast, Jonathan Groff, gave us a sneak peek about Mindhunter season 3. Season 1 premiered in 2017, but after season 2 hit Netflix, the audience hugely accepted the show. With such huge popularity, fans were excited about the next season. Sadly, season 3 was put on hold. And we still don’t know when season 3 is coming on the streamer.
Mindhunter is a psychological thriller television series, inspired by the novel 1995 true-crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. The series develops around a Behavioral Science Unit in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the late 1970s and the beginning of criminal profiling, starring Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, and Anna Torv. With its visual storytelling, the show layered different types of criminal psychology. With the show’s holdup, the fans have a lot of questions about Mindhunter season 3.

Why Holden Ford does not completely fit The Mould Of Psychopathy?
The character of Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford in Mindhunter does not quite exhibit criminal psychopathy. He neither exhibits a parasitic character, nor does he lack long-term planning, juvenile delinquency, and criminal versatility. He might be driven by some psychological stimulation. But does not visualize psychopathy.
Does anxiety rise like an Ophidian: Deep-seated trauma or personality disorder?

Holden Ford might not exhibit psychopathy. But we saw him submerging into the darkness. But he definitely needs some medical health because of a personality disorder.
His constant contact with high-anxiety scenarios often involves risk and the premise of possible casualties and death. His involvement in first-hand contact with serial killers as a criminal psychologist.

Holden might have his own differences, but with no doubt, he has an amazing gift, which makes him the best criminal psychologist. He is one of the characters in the show, for which fans are crazy. He has his own flaws just like any other human, but easily brings out the nature of the criminal. We can hope, in Mindhunter Season 3, that the creators might give us a greater insight into Holden’s mind and what he is capable of.
