Vikings: Valhalla, the long-anticipated show, recently launched on Netflix. After its craziness among fans, the creators decide to renew the show for another two seasons, aka Season 2 and Season 3. It’s no surprise because the show logged on for 113.38M hours in the first week and 194M hours in just nine days. Moreover, the show has been on the top list of streaming films in ninety countries since release.

Vikings Valhalla is a spin-off of the epic show, Vikings, and is set hundred years after the original show. It highlights the end of the Viking Age and the beginning of Christianity. The show is a Netflix original, created by Michael Hirst, starring Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, and Leo Suter in central characters. With the series renewal, we can look forward to the three main character and surviving supporting roles returning for more wars.

What is the Vikings: Valhalla season 2 release date?

Netflix had originally ordered 24 episodes, in total when commissioning the show in 2019. The creator decided to divided these episodes into three seasons. Recently, the renewal of the show for two more seasons became official. Fortunately, season 2 production is over, and the upcoming season is in post-production process.

However, an official release date of the season is yet to confirmed. We just have a general idea that season 2 will reach us in 2023. We can take a wild guess, as season 2 is already wrapped up in November 2021, the show will release in early 2023.

What is the season 3 release date?

Season 3, like the other two seasons, will have eight episodes. The production for Vikings: Valhalla season 3 may start in Spring, 2022. So, there is no confirmation on the release date yet.
