‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ Netflix Release Date, Synopsis and Cast
As we know Netflix had announced The Witcher: Blood Origin, which shows 1,200 years before the hugely popular ‘The Witcher‘ world. The miniseries will appear under the consultancy of the author of The Witcher books.
Netflix managed to win the appreciation of its subscribers with the adaptation series called The Witcher, in which we watched Henry Cavill in the lead role. The Witcher will have delighted Netflix with the number of views that the digital streaming giant has now announced the mini-series The Witcher: Blood Origin, where we will dive into the origins of the story of The Witcher.
The Witcher Prequel Synopsis Confirms It Reveals The First Witcher’s Origin. Netflix has announced an official synopsis for the series and confirms that the series will reveal the first Witcher’s origin story.

Here’s the official synopsis:
“Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell a story lost to time – the creation of the prototype Witcher and the events that lead to the pivotal ‘conjunction of the spheres’ when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.”
Since this is a prequel series, the series will feature going back in time 1,200 years to tell the story of the very first witcher. You can see the tweet shared by The Witcher’s official Twitter account.

Netflix or the producers haven’t announced an official cast list for the series yet. The only official cast member known right now is Jodie Turner-Smith.
Before COVID-19, the plans were to end the filming of the series by February 2021 but due to the pandemic, everything has changed. Because of it, predictions on finishing the filming of the second season could be around March 2021. So if we have to make predictions, The Witcher season 2 will release around this fall near the end of 2021.

With the official cast list, an official releasing date announcement hasn’t been done yet. We haven’t heard anything from Netflix or the producers of Blood Origin. Predictions around say that Netflix is waiting to start on the series until after The Witcher Season 2 is finished. For that saying, season 2 and also this miniseries can take longer due to the pandemic.
