Sweet Magnolias have been the talk of the town for quite a while now, especially now that the second is airing on Netflix. However, this time around, we are not talking about the success or the brilliance of the show. Rather than that, we are talking about the emotions of one of our favorite cast members of the show, JoAnna Garcia Swisher.

The Sweet Magnolias star JoAnna posted a heartfelt message for her friend Chris, who passed away recently. Here is what she had to say:

Following the demise of her friend Chris, JoAnna took to Instagram to share a very touching and emotional message that very well expressed what the bond with Chris meant to her. The message read:

“There are some people and some things in life that are so pure and special that it’s hard to even describe how much they mean to you. The magic they possess is so undeniable and potent. And everyone who is lucky enough to be in its orbit, felt it. ”

JoAnna further added, “This is you, Chris. You were so generous with your love, your fierce loyalty, your laughter and especially with your vulnerability. I will miss your giant hugs and I’m grateful we never missed the chance to say ‘I love you’, I will miss your smile and the twinkle in your eye, even when I knew things were not easy. I wish we still had you earthside, so many of us do. But I can only imagine the way your soul will move mountains beyond. I love you.”

It is more than clear that Chris was a very dear friend of hers, and it is heartwarming to see JoAnna express her feelings like this. She posted this entire message along with an image of Chris and her, where the duo is hugging each other.

It is indeed great to see celebrities express their feelings like this, as it makes us feel a little closer to them and yet distant enough to understand that they have a personal life as well.
