Finally, Anna Delvey aka Anna Sorokin has met the actress, Julia Garner, who plays the role of Anna Delvey in Inventing Anna on Netflix. Anna Delvey, the fake german heiress, has convicted guilty of fraud charges in 2019. She fooled some of the most influential people in New York City and get away with thousands of dollars. In 2022, Netflix does a television show on the authentic story of Delvey, who claims herself as the German heiress with a $60 million fortune in her trust fund. She used to dine in high-end restaurants, live in luxurious hotels, buy designer clothing items and accessories, all just in the name of wire transfer. Delvey is still in the correctional facility, where they housed her for two years after 2019.

Of all the other artists on the television show, Julia Garner, has done an amazing job. Even Anna Delvey claimed it was like to hear an impression of her own distinct accent.

Anna Sorokin aka Anna Delvey was a guest on the podcast, Forbidden Fruits, hosted by Julia Fox. She claimed in the podcast that Garner went to Albion, the correctional facility home, to meet Delvey. She referred to Julia as a sweet girl. Delvey even asked Garner from Inventing Anna to do Delvey’s unique accent. In which she expresses, “And it’d just so weird, you know? Because the way you hear yourself like, your voice is just completely different when you hear yourself on TV.” 

Where Julia Fox gave Garner “six out of ten” and said she has done too much. Anna Delvey defends Garney and explains that her accent was used to be like this in 2015, 2016, and 2017. She is now in America for the last four years, surrounded by Americans only. So, she is guessing that has affected her accent.

She confesses, “I barely even speak German these days, all I speak in English,” she continued. “And back in the day, I would speak like whatever — French, German, English — on a daily basis.” 

Delvey even called Rachel DeLoache Williams annoying and claimed that she was shamelessly exploiting their friendship. She says, “She’s like timing her attacks. She thinks I’m just in jail and she can just say whatever she wants.”
