And today, Netflix also released a full-length trailer with filling all fans up with the thrill and rising up the attention even more like it was even possible by revealing much more detail of the show.

The only thing I could blame the beloved streaming platform could be hearing another excellent and anticipated show of its, The Witcher season 2 not being able to air soon enough. But with the very latest trailer of their upcoming fantasy series, Shadow and Bone seem to manage to quench our pain with its fantastic look as well! So if you are looking for a new magical world to dive into while you wait, you will probably be doing the very best of it on April 23, when the series lands on Netflix.

And with the last trailer, the expectations have been raised like never before. As the expectations grow along with the anticipation, we also know that the upcoming series has also already been renewed behind scenes for its season 2 as well. After the glimpse the latest trailer has provided, I don’t think no one could ever surprise by that decision as well. On the contrary, it only gives much more excitement to knowing this promising series will just continue where it left.

So, if you are ready to find out more as much as we are, let’s take a short look at this exciting new trailer and what’s ahead of us with Shadow and Bone, together. We already knew that the show would be following an orphan mapmaker and lowly soldier named Alina Starkov who unleashes an extraordinary power. And we now can understand that she’s also some kind of “light-summoner” who will save their fantastic world along with the very sexy and good-looking but also her opposite as a “shadow-summoner” General Kirigan. It really got me thinking about their possible match already. It will probably be like the good and the evil falls in love with each other, but no matter how cheesy that sounds, I’m almost pretty sure that their relationship will be much more complicated than that.

And not only they give excitement as well. The supporting characters seem really interesting and making us eager to meet them too. For example, Kit Young’s character Jesper Fahey, who is a quick-shooting, really got me going that getting to know him will be really fun along with the others as well.

On the other side, Alina’s power makes her a really rare Grisha class, who can bend and summon light. So it’s not a shocker that a bounty has been put on her head and the hunt begins. A criminal gang named The Dregs starts to chase her for the bounty. Its members are Kaz Brekker (Freddy Carter), Jesper Fahey (Kit Young), and Inej Ghafa (Amita Suman), who are also giving excitement to me that getting to know them will be really fun as well. So, the supporting characters, especially Kit Young’s Jesper Fahey, who is a quick-shooter, look really interesting which makes me eager to meet.

In the meantime, we also see Alina and General Kirigan teaming up and going to the Ravkan court in the Grand Palace, most likely to learn how to control her magic. She also stays under big pressure because everyone’s eyes are on her as well. But Kirigan also seems to determined to support her as he gently cradles her head and says: ‘The only thing more powerful than you and me, the two of us together.’ Do you also think what I think?
